Angels, Transformation, and Healing — A Christian Science Lecture

Mary Baker Eddy, the discoverer and founder of Christian Science, defines Angels on page 581 of the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures as follows:

“ANGELS. God’s thoughts passing to man; spiritual intuitions, pure and perfect; the inspiration of goodness, purity, and immortality, counteracting all evil, sensuality, and mortality.”

The artist captioned his image with the following words and to honor this, we set them forth below.

Then the Angel of God spoke to me in a dream, saying, ‘Jacob.’ And I said, ‘Here I am.’ Genesis 31:11.

Carefully read and consider the bible verse above. God is Sovereign and there is a specific reason that God sent, and your eyes have been drawn to this message today.

When God sends bible scripture to us it is never by accident. In Isaiah 55:11, God says that wherever He sends His word it never returns empty. It always achieves the special purpose for which it was sent. Prayerfully consider the message above. Humbly seek and submit to the Living God whose Spirit has determined to personally speak to you today.
